The Rotary Club of Abertillery and Blaina was formed over 75 years ago. Our Club is a caring group of people, and we are enthusiastic, fun loving and active volunteers, who have raised thousands of pounds for charity both locally, nationally and internationally.

The towns of Abertillery and Blaina are nestled within the beautiful Ebbw Fach valley. They are easily accessed from the A465 Heads of the Valleys road in the north and the A467 and A472 in the south. The area is surrounded by beautiful scenery and dramatic views across the hills and beyond.
There are a number of key tourist
attractions in the area, including
the Guardian, situated near our
meeting place in Six Bells.
The Guardian commemorates the
50th anniversary of the 1960 mining
disaster in Six Bells. It stands 20 metres
high and towers over the site of the former colliery where the tragedy occurred.
